Stick Strong with Viv
Girls Youth Lacrosse Clinic
Save the Date for our 3rd Annual Clinic on March 7, 2026!
In January 2024, during a particularly long hospital stay, a close family friend visited Vivian and shared a brilliant idea. To honor Vivian’s love of both playing and coaching lacrosse, she was planning a girls youth lacrosse clinic to raise money for Vivian’s treatment.
Sadly, Vivian passed away before the clinic took place; however, the team pushed forward, and our inaugural lacrosse clinic was held a few weeks later in memory of Vivian.
From the age of seven, Vivian loved lacrosse. She spent her younger years playing for Burke Athletic Club before moving on to play in high school at Robinson. Throughout her middle and high school years, she played travel lacrosse for Rattlers/Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic.
During her treatment, Vivian continued to be a dedicated teammate, as she always considered her team to be her family. She showed up to practices and games to cheer on her Robinson teammates and make them laugh with her witty sense of humor. She also continued coaching K-2 players through BAC.
We hold this event annually in early spring for girls in grades K-8 to help prepare them for the upcoming lacrosse season, spread awareness about the symptoms of Ewing Sarcoma, and raise money for research to find a cure. The clinic is led by high school players from several local high schools.
